  • lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 18 oz spaghetti
  • 4½ tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • 1½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ¾ tsp garlic powder
  • ⅜ tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ¾ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 3 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add chicken seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and Italian seasoning; cook until golden brown (7-9 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (30 seconds). Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream; gradually mix in cream cheese until melted.
  4. Add Parmesan and mozzarella slowly, stirring until creamy. Season to taste.
  5. Toss cooked spaghetti in the sauce, then add chicken back to skillet to warm through.
  6. Garnish with parsley before serving.
