  • 12 oz fettuccine or penne pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks; season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Stir in minced garlic for an additional 30 seconds before removing the beef from the pan.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour until smooth. Gradually add heavy cream and milk; let simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese, mozzarella, and softened cream cheese until melted and smooth. Season with Italian seasoning.
  6. Combine cooked pasta and browned beef into the sauce; toss well to coat.
