  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
  • ½ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
  2. For the cream cheese filling, beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well. Stir in flour and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mash bananas. Mix in melted butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add to the banana mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into each loaf pan, layer with cream cheese filling, then top with remaining batter.
