- 3 ripe bananas
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese
- ½ cup melted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and prepare two 9×5-inch loaf pans with nonstick spray.
- For the cream cheese filling, beat together cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well. Stir in flour and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas. Mix in melted butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla extract, and sour cream until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add to the banana mixture until just combined.
- Pour half the batter into each loaf pan, layer with cream cheese filling, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean with moist crumbs attached.
