  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 and 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 4 bananas)
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter (for swirl)
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for swirl)
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour and baking soda until just combined; gently fold in mashed bananas.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon swirl ingredients until thick.
  5. Layer half of the batter into the prepared pan, add half of the cinnamon mixture, then repeat with remaining batter and swirl mixture.
  6. Bake for 60–70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
