- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 and 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas (about 4 bananas)
- 3 tablespoons melted butter (for swirl)
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar (for swirl)
- 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla.
- Mix in flour and baking soda until just combined; gently fold in mashed bananas.
- In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon swirl ingredients until thick.
- Layer half of the batter into the prepared pan, add half of the cinnamon mixture, then repeat with remaining batter and swirl mixture.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for at least 30 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
