Ingredients
- 500g ground beef or lamb
- 2 medium potatoes, diced
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- 3-4 green chilies
- 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- Salt as needed
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Chopped coriander
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for about 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
- Add ground meat and brown thoroughly.
- Mix in spices and salt; cook for another 5-7 minutes.
- Add diced potatoes and enough water to cover them; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 25 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with garam masala and fresh coriander before serving.
